by Gary Goerk on 07/30/11

Dancing Dolphin Travel now has an on-line gift registry available for you to let your family and friends know about an upcoming wedding, honeymoon, vow renewal, "milestone" anniversary, or "milestone" birthday celebration. The registry will allow them to give toward a portion or all of the cost of your vacation celebration, whether it is a cruise, an all-inclusive resort or some other exciting travel celebration adventure. Check out the Sample Gift Registry Page.  There you'll see a sample of the personal pass-coded gift registry page that you could receive at no charge to encourage family and friends to contribute to your celebration vacation.

Destination and Cruise Wedding Legalities

by Gary Goerk on 07/15/11

It's easy to get all wrapped up in planning a wonderful dream wedding vacation at a resort in another country or on a cruise ship, and forget about the fact that marriage requirements in those countries will most likely be different than in the US and even vary from country to country, section to section.

The best way to find out all the requirements is to directly or indirectly communicate with your destination resort or cruise wedding planner/activities planner.  This can be done directly with the on-site or cruise ship planner, or you can work through your travel agent.  However, even before you choose a destination or cruise, it is best to find out the requirements. It could influence your initial planning.

For example, there may be varying requirements regarding a waiting period, time spent in the country, birth place documents, divorce documents, to name a few.  Make sure all is in order so there are no last miniute "hitches" (pun intended).

Also check out the wedding/honeymoon packages the resorts and cruise lines offer.  They range from A to Z and usually include complimentary amenities and accommodations of some kind.  Your travel agent can make recommendations based on your needs.

Dancing Dolphin Travel Web Site Changes

by Gary Goerk on 06/30/11

I've made significant improvements to the Dancing Dolphin Travel web site and more are on the way.

The web site now has a new "landing page" that gives visitors a quick overview of travel and vacation services available and the convenient ways to book through Dancing Dolphin Travel.

Once a visitor clicks on "Enter," he or she will find new and updated pages that provide more information about travel opportunities, vacation packages and much more.

Visitors can link from the site to a special Agent Booking Site that will allow them to research travel opportunities on their own and book on that site, or contact me so I can make all the travel arrangements from start to finish. In the coming weeks, more supplier links will be added so visitors can explore and even book on those sites.

This blog is a new feature. Look for future posts regarding interesting travel topics, and special travel opportunities and vacation specials.

I have also provided a link to my personal Facebook page so visitors can join a Dancing Dolphin Travel Group.  Hopefully it will become the place where "friends" share experiences, photos and videos from their travel experiences that will help others see the "best," the "worst," the "unique," and even "the strange" that's out there.

Plus many more improvements and many more to come!
